The original “Travel to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC)” program consisted of fully funded field trips to the SNFCC for students from remote areas of Greece. It offered the opportunity to visit the SNFCC, participate in as many activities as possible, attend various events and guided tours on the premises of the National Library of Greece (NLG), the Greek National Opera (GNO) and the Stavros Niarchos Park. The program is under the auspices of the Ministry of Education.
Friends & Patrons of the SNFCC with Program “Travel to the SNFCC reloaded”, are planning to bring young people living under difficult circumstances, in contact with the SNFCC by arranging online workshops. These workshops are educational in nature and are going to be attended by young people hosted by certain Centers and/or Structures, giving priority to those already supported by Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
Taking into account the constantly changing conditions of the pandemic, we will continuously assess our ability to re-introduce physical presence at the SNFCC, always prioritizing the health and safety of all participants.
