On Thursday, April 10th 2025, the 3rd trial implementation of the Program “Sharing Experiences at the SNFCC” was implemented at the Book Tower of the National Library of Greece (NLG).
On the occasion of World Poetry Day, 20 students from the Secondary School for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing of Argyroupolis and 17 classmates from the Experimental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) jointly participated in the program, communicating through poetry.
For one month, the children from the Experimental School of EKPA attended special lessons to be able to participate in the program and perform a poem in sign language, while their friends from Secondary School for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing of Argyroupolis organized a special poetry recitation event! In this way, through their joint action, they managed to share words, meanings, emotions, and creativity, and experience a true sense of coexistence and inclusion!
The students were accompanied by 9 teachers from their schools.
We thank the National Library of Greece for hosting the program and especially its Educational Programs team for their participation and support of the action.
The program “Sharing Experiences at the SNFCC” is designed with the help of a project team consisting of teachers from the partner schools and is implemented by the Friends & Supporters of SNFCC.
This program was realized through the generous donation of Alpha Bulkers Shipmanagement Inc.
