The first school that participated to the program was the General High School of Neapoli, Kozaniwhere 34 fifteen year old students visited the SNFCC between 27th and 29th of March 2019.
The trip, fully funded by Athens International Airport Donation, gave the students the opportunity to spend a full day in the SNFCC, where they attended guided tours to the National Library of Greece, The Greek National Opera and the Stavros Niarchos Park. In addition, the students attended the Opera Performance, “Marriage of Figaro”, on the 27th of March.
While preparing for their trip, the students studied the Opera and the Lyric Theater in general, and also they were informed of the collections and new services of the National Library of Greece as well as the Stavros Niarchos Park, one of the largest green areas in Athens. The F&P of the SNFCC collaboration with Athens International Airport, in the implementation of youth education programs, enables young people to study language, art and modern culture through education and lifelong learning. By transmitting knowledge, building experiences and memories, the F&P of the SNFCC programs with the support of Athens International Airport, contribute to making SNFCC an integral part of the lives of young people.
